We are pleased to announce that the European Patent Attorney Dr. Artis Kromanis has been elected as the Latvian substitute member of the Council of the European Patent Institute (EPI) for the term of 2020-2023.

The Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI) is the professional body representing all European Patent Attorneys. Currently the Institute has about 12,300 European Patent Attorneys as members coming from each of the 38 Contracting States of the European Patent Convention who work either in industry or in private practice.
