Kristīne Viļķina announced as the third partner at Pētersona patents – AAA Law

We are truly glad to announce that on September, 2021 PETERSONA PATENTS – AAA LAW our longstanding employee lawyer and Latvian and European Trademark and Industrial Design Attorney Kristīne Viļķina became the newest partner of the firm. Kristīne has been a significant player in the field of intellectual property already for 18 years. During this time she has accumulated extensive experience by working with local and foreign clients. Kristīne’s past tenure as the deputy director of Trademark and Industrial Design department of Latvian Patent Office also shows great value as she still superbly understands the specifics of the Office’s daily work. Before joining PETERSONA PATENTS – AAA LAW Kristīne handled intellectual property matters in-house at a leading pharmaceutical company in Latvia. Thus her specific knowledge in the field of pharmacy must be emphasized as well.

Kristīne has proved herself in legal matters as well. Brands like Burn, James Bond, Chanel, Land Rover and Nike are all in her portfolio. Not one employee of PETERSONA PATENTS – AAA LAW has managed without Kristīne’s advice in dealing with trademark and design matters both in everyday work and in difficult cases.

Kristīne’s ability to successfully deal with difficult intellectual property matters is acknowledged by current partners as well. Artis Kromanis emphasizes: “The fact that Kristīne has become a partner is just a logical step. Congratulations on your accomplishments!”

Managing partner Gatis Meržvinskis joins in the greetings: “Her professional growth, perseverance and interest in the field of intellectual property and the fact that during these years Kristīne has continuously proved herself as one of the key employees at PĒTERSONA PATENTS – AAA LAW has obviously resulted in her becoming a partner. Now she will be able to continue her work as one of the captains of the ship, cruising in the vastness of the intellectual property.”

Recognition of Kristīne’s expertise comes not only from her colleagues and clients alike. They value Kristīne’s ability to listen, to delve into clients’ needs and thoroughly comprehend each individual case.
