Agneta passed the qualification exam on patents specialty.\r\n\r\nAgneta works in \u2018Petersona Patents\u2019 since 2016, but the first experience in the field of the intellectual property she gained working as an examiner in the Department of Examination of Inventions of the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia, which is now very useful working as a patent attorney. Technical background Agneta gained while working in the cosmetics production company \u2018STENDERS\u2019. Previously she has worked in the Laboratory of Chemical Technology of Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials, where the scientific work was connected with photocatalytic materials and the studies of properties thereof. Agneta made also her Master\u2019s thesis in the said laboratory which helped her to gain the master\u2019s degree in engineering science in nanotechnologies.\r\n\r\nCurrently Agneta is responsible for European patent validations in the field of chemistry, biotechnology and life sciences (that includes also the claim translations) and patent annuity payments.
