Starting from the 6th of March, 2020 it will replace the existing Law on Trademarks and Geographical Indications, which came into force 21 years ago - in 1999.","insights_1_description":"In view of the Directive (EU) 2015\/2436 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to trade marks, on 6th of February, 2020 the Latvian Parliament adopted the new Trademark law.
